Mike and Penny hugged each other tightly as they watched the shuttle approach from the looming bulk of the Empress of the Skies, hovering one island away as it gathered its scattered children back to itself. The waves lapped softly at their feet, and the breeze whispered through the palm-like trees just behind them. All in all, they had had a perfect day!
