Part of a sequence of seven images I made using Bryce 5, the ships were constructed mainly of the then-new 'metaballs' feature of Bryce 5 (along with the improved volumetric clouds). This was my favourite image of the sequence: in fact, I rendered it to a very high resolution, and had an 18"x24" print made of it, which still hangs on my wall...
This is by far the oldest image to make it onto my 'favourites' list, and is likely to remain so...
