In response to Firesong's wish for a lo-res mecha-bug, here's my mecha-mosquito!

It's pure Bryce primitives, so should be pretty undemanding of a Bryce scene...

Actually, I couldn't resist the urge to make it a bit poseable, so the legs, head, and wings are all bendable - as you can see from the three slightly different poses on the bugs in this promo image.

Anybody want it? If so, I'll zip it up and put it on my downloads page...

Installation instructions for both PC versions included in zip file - but rumour has it, it installs just fine on a Mac, as well! .
