While tending his flock of sowbugs in the fungal fields, aided by his faithful centipede TippyToes, Slig and his trusty steed SlimeBelly accidentally stir up a nest of irritable Cornish Pixies...
Slig should have known better - the gentle Mushroom Pixies, usually very placid, had been strangely excitable today. Although they shared no common language between their races, Slig cursed himself silently for not suspecting that something was amiss, from their behaviour. Now he had no choice but to endure the taunts and pranks of the vile winged nuisances... The Bryce List Challenge for June 2004 was "Fungus Among Us..." I finally had the opportunity to use some of the various mushrooms and other assorted fungi that had been accumulating on my hard drive over the past few years! As well as the various cute little fae creatures I had been acquiring as well... Once the render was done, I could see that it cried out for some post-processing work, to give it that fantasy, fairy-tale quality.
