With all the fuss over the imminent release of the DAZ "Freak" model (richly deserved, from what I've seen), I didn't want to forget about the previous 'big guy' from DAZ, Gorn the Giant...
I bought him upon his release a year or so back; and while I played around with him in a few images, only recently did I realize that I had never used him in a posted image. Well, I'd better do it now, before he gets lost in the flood of Freak images which is sure to follow his release next week. (I admit that even I might redo this image with the Freak later on, but for now, I quite like it 'as is') ...and the literary inspiration for this image was the description in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix of Hagrid's giant brother, kept chained up in the Forbidden Forest. I took it in rather a different direction, but the basic composition is pretty close to the image I had in mind, complete with eerie glowing mist...
