What's a father-bot to do...

Against his better judgment algorithms, D-Bot reluctantly agreed to take the 'chip-off-the-old-wafer' in to the city with him - and to take D-Spot along for company!

As the trio walked across the City Square, D-Bot's sensory web was diverted for a nano-second, and before you could compute 'pi-to-the-tenth-place,' D-Spot and D-Brat were off on their own.

An angry buzzing erupted, and D-Bot realized the pair had encountered Bugs! BUGS IN THE SYSTEM!!!

D-Bot raced to the rescue, swatting mecha-mosquitos left and right, before they could gorge on high-grade machine oil! He could only hope that the mecha carried no viruses with them...

D-Bot swivelled his head in indecision as he lead his charges away - How does one strike the right balance of programming with a bot like D-Brat? Curiosity is of course important to a learning algorithm, but a modicum of obedience must also be programmed in...

Either way, D-Brat was going to need some reprogramming and upgrading...

Someone on the YahooGroups Bryce List suggested posting images using my new mecha-mosquito; so here's my effort. (See below for details on the poseable Bryce-only mecha-mozzie)
