- Bryce Abstract/Materials Challenge - January 2005 -

Comments:

I've been too busy in the lead-up to Christmas to participate in the most recent few YahooGroups Bryce List challenge themes; plus, I was experiencing some computer issues that made dabbling much less fun than it should have been...

Fortunately, it's a new year, I've got a new computer (as of this morning), and things are generally looking up, so I had a go at the latest Challenge last night! Using just a few simple shapes, we are to create a scene focussing on the textures and materials, and camera angles

This dramatic scene contains only a couple of tori, a spheroid, and a couple of metaball chains, inside a larger spheroid with a couple of lights... I varied the reflectivity channel of the larger spheroid to get the environmental turbulence that surrounds this scene. I've also made a larger similar version as desktop wallpaper, but it doesn't follow all the rules, so I'll post this one instead!
