Thanks to its method of blending textures as well as shapes, some interesting 'fusions' are possible. This one blends a brassy metal with glass. When I first created this while playing, I thought "Hmm - interesting!" and put it aside for later use, should the time ever be right...

Well, no time like the present! So I pulled it up, finished it off, and present it now, for the Metaballs Challenge...
