Another 'nature' image, highlighting features of the new Bryce 5.

When the first 'Release Candidate' of Bryce 5 was shipped to beta-testers, Corel gave us permission to post images made with that version for public viewing. One of Corel's restrictions on these posted images was that we could not discuss or reveal how we had made them, so at the time, I couldn't discuss the fact that this image made use of Bryce 5's new trees and depth-of-field premium rendering ability - folks had to read between the lines and draw their own conclusions.

I wanted to try out Debra Ross's pronghorn model, even though as the image evolved, the zoologist in me realized that this was entirely inappropriate - that plains-dwelling pronghorns would never be found in an environment such as this! For reasons that I'm still not at liberty to discuss, the image stayed as is - with apologies for the sacrifice of ecological veracity!
