Back in April 2001, the fine folks over at DAZ 3D had a contest for best use of their new 3D cartoon kids for Poser, 'Sammy' and 'DeeDee' and their dog, 'Duke'.
I was quite pleased with the way two of my images turned out. So were the DAZ folks, I guess, because while I didn't win an actual prize, I did get an 'honourable mention' for the 'Art Class' image.
...And, before you ask, yes I'm quite aware that the theme of these two is very similar - sort of a reversal of reality. Call them Variations on a Theme...
The desks and chairs in the schoolroom were a prop downloaded from Renderosity. All of the other props and furniture were created from scratch in Bryce and/or RayDream.
