The condensed version - inspired by Kevin Cappis and his Surreal Places site; and to take my mind off the turmoil surrounding my mother's passing, and the unrelated but simultaneous manic meltdown of someone close to me.
Included in these images are 'but a few' of the buildings I created during this period. A 'representative sample,' if you will, rather than subjecting you to an endless series of similar images with all the excitement of showing three trays of slides taken at Aunt Bertha's barbecue last summer, to someone who's never met Aunt Bertha! Suffice it to say, however, that many of the buildings are based, to some extent, on real buildings I have seen or photographed - some here in Toronto, some as far afield as Singapore and Hong Kong!And, thrown in amongst them in an effort to keep filesize to manageable levels, are some simpler buildings (just a couple of cubes or cylinders) dressed up with interesting textures.
