A high-ranking Minbari of the religious caste contemplates the upcoming war of extermination as he stands in the holographic display chamber of his Sharlin-class warcruiser. Although the complete eradication of a sentient species is personally distasteful to him, and contrary to the teachings of Valen, the senseless murder of the leader of the Grey Council must be avenged.
These aliens, although pitifully weak in comparison to the Minbari Federation, have become vermin which must be removed before they spread their pestilence further among the stars. For while they seem not to be related to 'the Great Enemy' of whose return Valen prophesied, they could grow into a distraction from that great conflict yet to come.
After several years of pathetically one-sided battles and negligible losses to themselves, the Minbari are now readying to settle the matter in a single decisive stroke - in Valen's Name.
He contemplates the gathering armada, preparing for the order which will see the vast fleet converge on the homeworld of the hated foe - the world known to its inhabitants as 'Earth'.

I've always wanted to use my 3D toolset to create a Minbari, and I've finally developed the skillset to bring it about - this was an exercise in creating magnets and morph targets, smart props, and clothing textures - very educational, all around!
Image Updated 2002.08! I've replaced the Sharlin Cruisers with a model by Mark Kane ("G'Kane") - while there are very slight conformation differences between the earlier version and this one, the main improvement is that I was able to apply G'Kane's texture maps to this model, more faithfully recreating the 'look' of the Minbari war-cruiser than with the Bryce procedural textures I was using before. Similarly, G'Kane's Nial fighters have also been replaced with more-appropriately-textured versions.
