Back to the Babylon 5® universe, here's an image from the Shadow War; or rather, one of the early skirmishes between the nascent Ranger force and the mysterious, seemingly invincible aliens known to us as the 'Shadows'... In this image, the prototype WhiteStar finds itself outnumbered and outgunned in a surprise encounter.
I first created this image two years ago, early in 1998. The models were downloaded from popular B5 mesh sites, with their creators referenced below. I've replaced the WhiteStar in this image (as originally posted) with a more correct version (Thanks to Kier Darby, as referenced below...)
What sets it apart from a simple 'glamour shot' (IMHO) is that the image does carry a sense of action; and I've added an element of my own - the second Shadow ship 'phasing in' from hyperspace in the Shadows' unique fashion. Easy enough to do in RayDream, but I haven't seen that moment captured in any other posted images.
