"As the Hovertanks split up to search for survivors, one of them ventured into a 'badlands' area, following up on some anomolous readings. Venturing down a valley, they were shocked to discover humanoid inhabitants of this world... This was unexpected, as scans had revealed no significant technology. The inhabitants were apparently a primitive, pre-technological society. There also seemed to be two distinct morphs represented, although whether these were due to racial or species differences remained to be seen. The dark humanoids seemed strange enough, but the truly huge blue fellow (undeniably male, at first glance) seemed even more alien.
"The ship ceased its advance, and the whine of the repulsorlifts died down as the crew decided how to handle this unforeseen development."
Here's the HoverTank once again, this time posed in a picture on a more 'human' scale. Speaking of human, the figures were the result of attempts to replicate Kennect's style. The first (the dark couple), through playing with Bryce textures, the second (the blue 'Hulk') through creating new maps for the Poser figure. Neither turned out exactly as planned but, as so often happens, this set me off in a new direction. Results of that tangent may be included in the next batch of new images! Stay tuned...
