- Luxury Liner Over Toronto -

Comments:

Y'know, it's funny how people scurry about the city, and just never bother to look up! Why, just the other day, I was out taking some photos around the downtown area of my beloved Toronto, and when I raised my camera, what did I see, but the Empress of the Skies herself, cruising around over downtown. I guess the travel company was doing some sort of promotion, but for all the attention people were paying, they might as well not have bothered. I don't think anybody else even noticed the huge luxurious vessel hanging overhead. And of course, the noises of the downtown area drowned out the soft hum of her repulsorlift drives...

These images were composed back in August of 2001, a couple of weeks before the events of 9-11. Suddenly, it seemed insensitive to post them. Now that the skies are once again full of normal commercial air traffic, it may be OK to dust them off...

The image features my Bryce 5 metaball Luxury Liner, composited over a skyline captured by my digital camera, with considerable use of Photopaint's layers (objects).
