- Luxury Liners Over Downtown Toronto -

Comments:

...So, I turned around and went back downtown, hoping to catch one last glimpse of the Empress fleet before they left. Sure enough, they circled the downtown core once more. I wasn't sure, but it seemed that perhaps they had been using the CN Tower as a mooring and/or boarding tower. At over 1800 feet tall, certainly it was the only place around that could have fulfilled such a function.

These images were composed back in August of 2001, a couple of weeks before the events of 9-11. Suddenly, it seemed insensitive to post them. Now that the skies are once again full of normal commercial air traffic, it may be OK to dust them off...

The image features my Bryce 5 metaball Luxury Liner, composited over a skyline captured by my digital camera, with considerable use of Photopaint's layers (objects).
