Just another working day in Space... As a variety of different spacecraft proceed on their various tasks and missions, the dock-workers and technicians go about their normal business. Such wonders as immense spacecraft, interstellar travels, and force-field atmospheric barriers are no wonder at all to them... they just load, unload, and refuel the ships, and reroute the various items of cargo according to their manifests...
This piece shows off a variety of my home-made craft, most built entirely in Bryce. The single (partial) exception is the larger 'corvette-type' ship docked at the far end of the hangar, which started life in RayDream. I decided to recreate it in Bryce, and imported only those components which I could not easily recreate with native Bryce primitives.
I suppose this is balanced, in a karmic sort of way, by the little 'bubble-ships,' of which several are parked on the floor, with two in use outside the hangar. These little utility ships started life in Bryce 2; and I later recreated them in RDS
My aim in this project was to use Bryce to create a scene which was entirely 'man-made'; given the origins of Bryce as a landscape generator, I wanted to produce a scene which was emphatically not a landscape!
